Ensuring our students are safe, happy, achieving and participating in the life of the school, their family and community is central to all that we do.

At Beaminster we pride ourselves on how well we ‘look after’ our students within and beyond the school gates.

​

Every member of staff is safeguard trained, and we have several members of staff who lead on safeguarding and child protection.

 

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is:

 

Deputy Headteacher, Mr David Withers.

 

We also have 2 trained Deputies:

 

Mrs Donna Berry (SSGC Manager)

Mrs Karen Dodge (Maths Instructor)

Our Governor responsible for Safeguarding is:

 

Mrs Amy Monks.
