Lockdown January 2021
Only identified vulnerable students and the children of key workers unable to work effectively at home should be in school during a national lockdown.
Whilst all schools effectively remain open for education online, it is important that we follow the government guidance and keep as many students as possible safely working at home.
All staff and students in school undertake a weekly, self-administered COVID test. Students must have signed consent for this (form available HERE).
Uniform is not required.
Students should have the following items with them:
-
A face mask/covering plus a spare
-
Hand gel and tissues
-
A packed lunch and plenty to drink
-
Own personal headphones (to access teacher input on Teams).
School transport timetables may be reduced, so parents and carers are strongly advised to confirm directly with the provider that school transport is still running on the days they require it.
Please also remind students that mobile phones must not be used in school and should be out of sight at all times. It is not currently possible to deposit phones at Reception so students will be responsible for keeping their own phones safe and out of sight.
Masks / Face Protection Required in all
internal school communal areas
ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A FACE MASK AND A SPARE WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES PLEASE
Masks should be plain or may be simply patterned, but no novelty or rude/inappropriate masks please.
GCSE and A level Art coursework
All coursework can now be collected from the school, so please contact us to arrange a suitable time for safe collection.
Please also return any resources/books that were borrowed during lockdown
